Nettech Systems, Inc. Wednesday announced it has teamed with NORCOM Networks Corporation to support NORCOM Direct which will provide users with real-time wireless data communications anywhere in the United States over NORCOM's satellite communications services. Slated for release by the end of 1999, Nettech's support for NORCOM Direct will allow mobile application developers to easily interface directly to the NORCOM satellite network.

Nettech is the only middleware provider to support NORCOM Direct access. "Nettech is continuing commitment to support the broadest range of networks and maintain the cutting edge in wireless data technology is further demonstrated in our support for the NORCOM Direct service throughout our product line," said Boris Fridman, CEO of Nettech. NORCOM's satellite network addresses a number of key issues for mobile workers, including real-time data delivery and 100% geographic coverage in the United States anytime. Nettech's middleware, InstantRF, ExpressQ, Smart IP, and Mobility Manager, allows developers to easily add wireless communication capability to their applications, providing reliable, optimized wireless data communication and overcoming mobility challenges.
NORCOM and Nettech will work together to jointly market NORCOM Direct to their customers. Both companies offer software developer kits for software developers and integrators interested in extending the wireless data communications capabilities of their applications.
