MCI WorldCom Tuesday announced a multi-million dollar contract for domestic local services in more than 80 locations with Xerox Corporation, a leading global provider of document management products and services.
"This agreement is a clear demonstration of MCI WorldCom's ability to deliver local service to business customers on a national scale," said Michael Miron, senior vice president, corporate business strategy and development, Xerox Corporation.
Under terms of the contract, MCI WorldCom will provide facilities-based local service to Xerox at locations in 20 states including: New York, Connecticut, Georgia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, California, Washington, Arkansas, Kansas, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma and Oregon. MCI WorldCom also provides Xerox with conferencing, private data and Internet services.
