MicroVault Corporation, the leader in secure document delivery over the Internet, including Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) solutions, Monday announced the appointment of vice president, business strategy and development. Joining the executive management staff, Eric (Ric) Buskirk brings more than 19 years of telecommunications experience to MicroVault including service with AT&T, American Bell, and Southwestern Bell.

Most recently, Buskirk served as area vice president for AT&T's Business Markets Group in Los Angeles where he was responsible for the management of 200 employees and $220 million in revenue. Prior to that, Buskirk served as general manager for AT&T Global Services where he was responsible for the management of $160 million in sales and revenue from Fortune 500 customers in Southern California. Buskirk was a founding member of the task force that developed and executed AT&T's Wireless Services Strategy that resulted in the $12 billion McCaw acquisition known as one of the largest deals in telecom history. Additionally, he led various business development efforts with operations of overseas firms in 30 countries.
Buskirk has been an active member of the Southern California community serving in leadership roles in a variety of business and philanthropic organizations spanning from Santa Barbara to the California/Mexican border. During the past six years, he has been involved with LA Works, the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce Board, and the Orange County World Trade Center Board. Currently, Buskirk is a Board Director for the Sundance Institute Advisory Board.
