Under the Global Crossing NetCents program, Global Crossing Telecommunications offers discounted interstate long distance rates, ranging from as low as $.059 per minute to $.069 per minute, with no term commitments and a minimum monthly recurring charge of only $25. Outbound, calling card and toll-free services roll up to meet a customer's minimum monthly usage charge. As part of the package, small business customers get fast, private and secure Web-based, account access via Global Crossing's industry-leading account management tool, uCommand. Customers can chose to be billed to a credit card account and subsequently receive electronic invoices, or they can chose traditional billing and receive a paper invoice through regular mail and remit payment via check.
"Global Crossing NetCents offers small businesses a simple way to shop online for a complete telecommunications package," said David Pugliese, vice president of marketing for Global Crossing Telecommunications. "We can offer additional savings opportunities for our customers because orders are electronically entered over the Internet, with minimal customer service intervention and reduced billing expense. Utilizing uCommand, customers can manage expenses through real-time viewing of billing statements or make changes and add services to their account."
Global Crossing offers an additional value-added benefit to its partners (systems integrators, consultants, traditional agents and value added resellers (VARs) with a portal, or associations, affinity, or non-profit entities with their own Web sites) to link directly from their portal to Global Crossing's site. Through this direct link, partners' customers will be able to subscribe to the Global Crossing NetCents plan to obtain the competitive rates for outbound long distance service, inbound toll free service, and calling cards, all without ever leaving their desks.
Global Crossing's integrated systems structure links the sites, maintains the partner ID, and offers generous commission levels for every sale originated on the partners' site, creating a seamless flow-through process from order to customer subscription and billing. Partners can find out more about this program by calling 1-800-299-9003 or by visiting www.globalcrossing.com/netcents.
