Asia Global Crossing announced Wednesday the addition of several new executives to the senior management team, appointments that will augment Asia Global Crossing as it prepares to emerge as an independent company.

Anthony Christie joins Asia Global Crossing as Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Planning, after 16 years with AT&T, several of which were spent working in the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, Mr. Christie was a Regional Managing Director in Asia, and Global Sales Vice President, Network Vice President, and General Manager at AT&T Solutions, where he was responsible for business development, account strategy, profit & loss, customer satisfaction, and personnel on a complex, network-focused project valued at more than $225 million annually.
Mr. Christie also held positions in AT&T's Asia-Pacific International Operations Division, including an assignment as the Regional Managing Director for the Consumer Markets Division, where he was responsible for revenues of more than $1.5 billion in 14 countries. Mr. Christie also served as Managing Director of Business Operations for AT&T's business in Asia. He will be based in Hong Kong.
Alex Ng, formerly CEO and CFO of AT&T's Asia Pacific operations, has joined Asia Global Crossing as Chief Operating Officer - North Asia. He will be based in Hong Kong and will be responsible for all operations of the region including joint ventures. Mr. Ng has more than 15 years' experience in both high tech and telecommunications, including more than 10 years with NCR. He was involved in several merger and acquisition transactions in the region while working for AT&T.
Chris Young will be based in the Hong Kong office as Vice President, Sales & Marketing, and will lead Asia Global Crossing's regional sales and marketing team. With more than 10 years of sales, marketing, strategy, and business development experience in Hong Kong, Mr. Young's background includes director-level positions with New T&T, IBM, and AT&T.
Ki Young Im has joined Asia Global Crossing as Managing Director - Korea from the top position in BT Concert's Korea office and will establish Asia Global Crossing's first office in that country. Mr. Im's background includes positions with KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) and AT&T, where he held managing director positions in business marketing and carrier services roles.
Joining Mr. Im in the Korea office are Soo-Young Park and SuChong Yu, both also from the BT Concert management team. Mr. Park and Mr. Yu will be responsible for sales, marketing, and business development activities.
Francis Lim has joined as Director, Regional Business Development, and will be based in Hong Kong. He has been involved in business development over the past 10 years in the region, initially with Hutchison Telecom and most recently with AT&T in Asia. Mr. Lim's extensive experience will help Asia Global Crossing in fulfilling its plan of building a seamless Asia Pacific network.
Asia Global Crossing is a joint venture among Global Crossing (Nasdaq: GBLX), Softbank (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 9984), and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) created to provide the Asia Pacific region with a full range of integrated telecommunications and IP services.
