ITC^DeltaCom, Inc. (Nasdaq: ITCD), a leading integrated telecommunications provider, Wednesday announced a marketing agreement with IBM to provide hosted IBM e-business solutions. The agreement will leverage ITC^DeltaCom's IP-based data services and hosting capabilities through its newly announced company e^DeltaCom.
As part of the agreement, ITC^DeltaCom is also announcing that USCertifiedLetters, LLC (USCL, LLC), a software innovations company, is the first to take advantage of the new offering to enable postal customers to send certified mail over the Internet.

"This relationship fulfills a marketplace demand by bringing together the two companies' networking and technology expertise to create integrated, hosted e-business solutions," said Andrew M. "With the increasing demand for outsourced e-business solutions, ITC^DeltaCom is pleased to be working closely with IBM to bring a comprehensive and cost-effective solution to customers."
The relationship provides new and existing customers with end-to-end e- business solutions pairing IBM Global Services' consulting and integration experience with ITC^DeltaCom's reliable network infrastructure and hosting capabilities which include an 8,250-mile fiber network with over 100 points of presence (POPs) and Internet, data, collocation and Web hosting products. ITC^DeltaCom customers enjoy the reliability of a secure space, climate control, UPS protected power, generators and redundant connectivity to the Internet. Companies that take advantage of the ITC^DeltaCom and IBM offering will also qualify to host the IBM e-business Mark on their sites -- intended to signify a secure, scalable and reliable e-business environment. The e- business Mark is provided to businesses using a combination of IBM e-business software, hardware and services.

The strength and unique benefits of the ITC^DeltaCom and IBM offering has already attracted significant customer attention. USCertifiedLetters, LLC, recently selected IBM Global Services and ITC^DeltaCom to design, manage and host the new USCL, LLC site, www.USCertifiedLetters.com. The Web site allows customers to send certified return receipt or non-return receipt mail over the Internet rather than going to the post office.
