AT&T Canada Inc. (TSE: TEL.B; NASDAQ: ATTC), Canada's largest facilities-based competitive provider of local and long distance, voice, data and Internet communications services, Thursday announced two key appointments to its senior management team.
Mark Ethier, most recently Senior Vice President of Sales at Telus, becomes AT&T Canada's Senior Vice President of Business Sales, responsible for all sales, sales engineering and sales operations for business customers across Canada. Prior to joining Telus in 1999, Mr. Ethier held a series of executive level sales and marketing positions at Bell Canada. Mr. Ethier has extensive knowledge of the Canadian business telecom market and incumbent providers and has a great depth of leadership experience in business telecom sales and sales support.

Emilio Taddio, most recently of Destia Communications where he was Vice President of Global Business Development and President of Destia Canada, becomes AT&T Canada's Senior Vice President of Wholesale, responsible for all carrier sales, sales engineering and sales operations for wholesale carrier customers across Canada and globally. Prior to joining Destia in 1998, Mr. Taddio held a series of executive level carrier and international sales and marketing positions at fONOROLA and has extensive knowledge of the global wholesale telecom market and a strong record of driving profitable carrier sales.
