"He has played a key role in engineering acquisitions such as Ascend, Yurie and Quadritek, as well as developing alliances with companies like Sun Microsystems. Bill's experience will help us in our plans to forge future enterprise solutions linking private and public networks and in further developing industry partnerships."

O'Shea began his career with Bell Laboratories in 1972 and spent more than 20 years in the development, manufacturing, marketing and sales of information systems including AT&T's UNIX system in the 1980s and AT&T's advanced business systems products in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
