Erich Reinecker, president of Eclipse, calls the new reach of the Eclipse network "customer-driven, and the next logical step to delivering broadband services beyond our traditional markets. Today's new extranets ride on the bandwidth offered by affordable DSL services, and will continue to do so in the future." Before the end of the year, G.Lite and bonded DSL products should be available to further enhance the range of connectivity options offered by this increasingly attractive technology. "Eclipse customers will be able to enjoy a varied and economical range of faster Internet connections, and over a wider area, with our new EclipseDSL offerings", said Reinecker.
Eclipse partners with regional and national CLECs to provide connectivity to businesses and individuals in a broad range of industries including financial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical research, real estate, and graphic production. Operating a double redundant network with interconnects to Tier One Internet providers in several east coast locations, Eclipse's customers can also take advantage of world wide roaming, web-based training, intelligent content filtering, and other enhanced services.
Eclipse Internet Access is a northeastern U.S. regional ISP. Established in 1995, Eclipse offers web hosting, co-location, EclipseATM, network management, and EclipseVPN connectivity solutions in thirteen mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states, in addition to traditional dial-up and dedicated high bandwidth circuits.
