Sprint PCS (NYSE: PCS) and Barnes & Noble.com (Nasdaq: BNBN) Tuesday announced the nationwide availability of Barnes & Noble.com Internet shopping services on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web. Sprint PCS, the nation's largest and fastest-growing 100 percent digital nationwide wireless network, is now providing customers with another choice for nationwide access to two-way Internet shopping via the Sprint PCS Wireless Web with one of the world's largest Web sites, Barnes & Noble.com.

Sprint PCS continues to set the pace for the industry by providing top-notch wireless Internet services from world-class companies like Barnes & Noble.com. By using a Sprint PCS Internet-ready Phone, customers have instant access to the Internet and can shop on Barnes & Noble.com virtually anytime, anywhere, nationwide. Barnes & Noble.com, one of the world's largest e-commerce retailers, offers books, music, software, a store locator and e-Cards on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web.

Barnes & Noble.com services will appear on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web under the "Shopping" category. When customers visit Barnes & Noble.com they will be able to browse and shop for a variety of items including in-print, bargain and rare books as well as music and software. Customers will also be able to send e-cards wirelessly - an industry first for Barnes & Noble.com. In addition, customers can open an account with Barnes & Noble.com directly from their Sprint PCS Phone and can access a store locator and call Barnes & Noble brick and mortar stores nationwide.
