Yard switch machine - Products Literature

Railway Track and Structures, Nov, 2003

An electro-mechanical railroad yard track switch machine, the Electro-Glide RA-20, is said to be easily installed and set up with a proximity switch adjustment system and the capability to jog the motor incrementally to a suitable point position. The Robotics & Automation One machine's features include trail-able, self-restoring switches; specially-designed LED track signals; a true mechanical hand-throw without battery back-up; a Blue Flag condition setting and a low profile enclosure.

It can be configured to replace most bolt circles of existing yard machines, can develop significant point pressure, has 1.5-second transition time, works on a variety of voltages and has a smooth transition in and out of point to rail contact. The machine does not slam the point into the rail. Phone: 800-722-5009 or 402-478-5010.
