In Memoriam: James M. Williams

Longtime AREMA Member James M. Williams, 76, passed away on October 27, 2004. Jim was a member of AREA since 1954, and a member of the American Railway Bridge & Building Association since 1963, having served as President in 1984-1985. Both organizations are predecessors of AREMA. Jim was a retired B&B Supervisor for I.C. Railroad and E.J.&E. Railroad, a former volunteer fireman/EMT for University Park and Croton Twp. Fire Departments, an engineer consultant, and a 50-year member of the Masons and the U.S. Navy Reserve. He is survived by his wife Margaret, three children and five grandchildren.

The 2005 Communications & Signals Manual is currently available. The 2005 C&S Manual contains 54 Revised Manual Parts. The Revised Parts also features a new look with an updated font. Individual sections of the C&S Manual are available starting with the 2005 edition.
