High-dump for vacuum loader
Railway Track and Structures, Dec, 2004
The NX vacuum loader from Guzzler Manufacturing, Inc., a part of the Federal Signal Corp. Environmental Products Group, is now available with a high-dump option. The addition to the loader permits dumping of debris into roll-off containers of up to 60 ins. (5 ft) in height. A heavy-duty, telescopic hydraulic cylinder at the rear of the NX chassis lifts the debris body upward and slightly backward, allowing extra clearance from the rear of the truck for efficient dumping.
With this customer-driven innovation, an operator can choose to dump material in either the normal- or high-dump mode. The NX itself offers very-low sound levels, good fuel economy, substantial loading capacity and the patent-pending Vacuum Recovery Technology for increased productivity. Phone: 847-741-5370.
