Structural health monitoring

Railway Track and Structures, June, 2004

SHM Systems provides structural health monitoring with the SHM 5100A System. It is a data-acquisition mainframe with many standard features. The system utilizes a combination of powerful processing and computation algorithms, commercially-available and reliable laser sources and a series of traceable internal references to provide consistently accurate data.

Users can specify and configure a system to include sensor input cards appropriate to their monitoring requirements. The 5100A Mainframe has four available slots for the sensor input cards. The addition of a 5100A Subframe gives an additional 11 slots. If eight-port sensor cards are used, 120 sensor ports are available, with all ports simultaneously acquiring data. Phone: 204-779-5400.
