Harsco Track Technologies
Railway Track and Structures, June, 2007
Harsco Track Technologies won its largest railway track maintenance equipment sales contract, a combination of two orders from the Chinese Ministry of Railways that is expected to generate more than $350 million in new revenues over the next four years. The two HTT orders call for the production and delivery of more than 40 new rail grinding machines through early 2011.
Also, Harsco won a new order from Brazil's Companhia Vale do Rio Doce to construct and support a new main line rail grinder that will be used by CVRD to reprofile some of the world's most-heavily-used railway freight lines.
