The microprocessor-controlled Safetran Event Analyzer/Recorder is a standalone system designed for continuous real-time monitoring, analyzing and recording of a wide range of functions associated with a crossing, interlocking, or similar installation. A basic SEA/R installation can monitor up to 30 separate functions, including 24 digital inputs, four analog voltage/current inputs, and two dedicated internal functions (temperature and battery voltage).

The quantity of both digital and analog inputs is expandable, and the SEA/R is capable of storing a minimum of 10,000 events.
