Harsco Track Technologies [TM] offers the C-Model Rail Grinder. The machine is configured as either an 8-stone or 10-stone chassis. Two or three cars can be coupled together to form 8-, 10-, 16-, 20-, 24-, and 30-stone combinations for maximum flexibility. he machines are built around a proven, 23-hp hydraulic grinding motor, each of which can be adjusted independently to any angle from 75-degree gauge to 45-degree field. Heavy-duty bogies and power-shift transmissions allow for track travel at speeds of up to 55 mph. Excellent dust collection, low noise levels, and a state-of-the-art control system combine to make the machine comfortable and easy to operate. The grinder is said to be effective on a railroad system of any size.
