Parsons, in conjunction with Kiewit Southwest Co. and Herzog Contracting Corp., has been selected by the Utah Transit Authority to build Salt Lake City's Mid-Jordan Light Rail Line. As the Engineer of Record, Parsons will be responsible for the $220-million, 11-mile extension, which will run from the Fashion Place West Station on the North/South Line in Murray west through Midvale and West Jordan along the Union Pacific right-of-way, then south to the new Kennecott Daybreak development in South Jordan.
