Cozen O'Connor

Risk & Insurance, Sept 1, 2004

ANN THORNTON FIELD has been named the new chairwoman of Cozen O'Connor's national insurance litigation department, the law firm has announced. She will succeed Robert R. Reeder, who is retiring. Field has served as a member of Cozen O'Connor's executive and management committees since 2000 and has led the firm's women's initiative in recent years.

She has worked on a number of high-profile cases involving aviation insurers, manufacturers and airports. The cases include litigation connected to the bombing of PanAm Flight 103, the troubled U.S. Navy experimental V-22 Osprey Tilt Rotor Aircraft, the ValuJet accident and the mid-air explosion of TWA Flight 800.
