St. John's University and its School of Risk Management have awarded five scholarships to undergraduate students from Bermuda studying insurance and risk management or actuarial science. Damir Armstrong, a graduate of Warwick Academy, was awarded the Arthur V. Erickson Memorial Scholarship. Ann Anckner and Deniece Gordon, graduates of Saltus Grammar School, and Kellyn White, who attended Bermuda College in 2001-2002, have received Bernard C. Beauvais, Jr. Memorial Scholarships. LaVonne Lee, a student at St. John's University, was also awarded the Bernard C. Beauvais, Jr. Memorial Scholarship.
