Eric Lien has joined AQS Inc. as director of marketing, the firm has announced. He will be responsible for marketing, branding and communications. Lien previously worked in sales and engineering jobs for Allen Bradley/ Rockwell Automation in Milwaukee, Wis., and the General Electric Co. He earned a master's degree in business from R.P.I. in New York and an engineering degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
In addition, Sam M. Flemer has joined AQS, the company has also announced. Before joining AQS, a software vendor to the property/casualty industry, Flemer worked at ADP Inc., and at Allstate Insurance Co. as a manager for the insurer's specialty lines. Flemer is a political science graduate of Mary Washington College.

AQS Inc. has also announced the hiring of David A. Tracy as a project manager from Marshall & Swift/Boeckh, a firm providing building cost information to the property/casualty insurance industry. Tracy, a graduate of Cardinal Sit itch College, worked at Synchromesh Consulting, AF Business Solutions, Metavante and American Appraisal Associates before working for AQS.
