Gary Harvey has joined The PMA Insurance Group, a property and casualty organization specializing in workers' compensation for midsize and large employers, as a branch vice president for Florida, the company has announced. Harvey is responsible for leading PMA's Florida operation, managing the company's distribution network, ensuring execution of service to customers and growing PMA's presence in the state.

Harvey was previously affiliated with Royal and Sun Alliance, where he spent nine years in positions of increasing responsibility, including Underwriting Manager for the company's Marsh Advantage America operation, Regional Operations Executive and Underwriting Manager, Florida, commercial property and casualty. From 1970 to 1994, Harvey worked in underwriting and marketing positions for Cigna Corporation.
