Stanley Fischer

Stanley Fischer will join Citigroup Inc., headquartered in New York, as vice chairman, where he will help Citigroup take advantage of opportunities with governments and corporations in both developed and emerging markets. He will also play an active role in risk management, fixed income, foreign exchange, and equity trading activities.

Fischer had previously been first deputy managing director of the International Monetary Fund. He has also been a consultant to the U.S. State Department, U.S. Treasury, and the Bank of Israel.
