The School of Risk Management at St. John's University and the International Insurance Society Inc. will open an Insurance Hall of Fame gallery at St. John's University Manhattan Campus in July, officials have announced. The facility will display photographs of 106 Hall of Fame portraits hanging in the Insurance Hall of Fame in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Joseph C. Smetana, a former vice president of American International Group Inc., and an alumnus of The College of Insurance, is donating funds for the gallery, which will be named The Joseph and Claire Smetana Gallery of The Insurance Hall of Fame.
