* Tokyo -- Honda Motor has passed Nissan Motor for the first time and now trails only Toyota Motor in terms of aggregate output in the April-September half, according to data released by Japan's top five automakers. -- Asia Pulse

* New Delhi -- Six core sectors of Indian's economy, including power, steel and cement, recorded strong 6.6 per cent growth between April and September 1999, up for 3.6 per cent in the corresponding period last year. These industries had recorded a 5.9 per cent growth in the five months from april to August this year. -- Asia Pulse

* Meggen, Switzerland -- It is said to be the biggest of its kind around, and it appears to be extremely useful for business travellers.
