* Macau -- China will convert a never-completed Soviet-era Ukrainian aircraft carrier for use as a floating hotel in Macau after the end of a long delay in Turkey, the China-owned Hong Kong Commercial Daily reported. The carrier Varyag, now in the South China Sea, was expected to reach the northeastern Chinese port of Datian in late February.
It will be converted into a floating hotel before being towed to Macau.
