P&O backs Agribusiness - Freight And Shipping - P&O Nedlloyd - Brief Article

P&O Nedlloyd will again sponsor the Agribusiness category in 2002 as part of their commitment to the Australian Export Awards.
In 2001, the P&O Nedlloyd Agribusiness Award was won by BRL Hardy, one of Australia's largest producers and exporters of premium Australian wine to a number of world markets, including Australia's two largest wine buyers--the United Kingdom and the USA.
P&O Nedlloyd Australian general manager, Bob Kemp, when asked about P&O Nedlloyd's continued involvement in the Awards, said "Australian primary produce and agricultural products are the lifeblood of this country. We can be greater and more adventurous in the future as exporters of technology and manufactured goods, and this is already taking place. But the bread and butter of Australia's export earnings will continue for some time to come from what we grow.
