The Peninsula Bangkok
All 370 rooms of The Peninsula Bangkok have panoramic river views, as do the selection of 65 suites. Technology played an important part in the design of the accommodation, including electronic bedside panels to control temperature, lighting, telephones, and audiovisual systems with the touch of a button. A range of functions rooms are available for events, including the River Garden and River Terrace for outdoor occasions, accommodating groups of up to 800 people.
The Regent Bangkok
Situated on the road that links the city's main business, entertainment and cultural districts with exclusive world-class shopping, The Regent Bangkok faces a nine-hole golf course which is part of The Royal Bangkok Sports Club. The 356 rooms are furnished with elegant silks, hand-crafted Thai furniture and unique antiques. All rooms are equipped with a digital telephone system. A range of function rooms is available for events, including a ballroom that accommodates up to 800 for cocktail parties.
Shangri-La Bangkok
On the banks of the Chao Phraya River, the Shangri-La Bangkok is an oasis with extensive gardens and two swimming pools. The 832 rooms either have dramatic river views or city panoramas. Over 24 meeting rooms of various sizes offer a range of options, including a grand ballroom which accommodates up to 1500 people. Internet, fax, and other services can be accessed at the business centre. An alternative meeting place can be one of the 11 restaurants and bars within the hotel, from international buffet to Japanese.
The Sukhothai, Bangkok
The Sukhothai is set amid six acres of landscaped gardens and pools within Bangkok's commercial district. Against the high-rise trend, the hotel is made up of four to nine storey buildings. Some of the 146 rooms and 78 suites have private balconies overlooking an inner courtyard and lily ponds. In terms of business offerings, the hotel has a range of meeting and conference rooms that can hold up to 300 people, supported by a fully-equipped 24-hour business centre.
