Patriotism highest in the Apple Isle - Sponsor's Message
Business Asia, August, 2003
It's official. Tasmanians are the most patriotic of any State when it comes to buying and supporting Australian made products: 90 per cent consciously look for Australian products, one in two will buy Australian whenever possible and 25 per cent say nothing would persuade them to choose an imported products when an Australian equivalent is available, according to the Australian Made Campaign's recent research.
Tasmanians company "Southern Cross Country" recently joined the Australian Made Campaign to distinguish their high quality coats as Australian made and differentiate them from imported products. Their coats, vests and jackets are made from unique breathable and waterproof Australian fabric.
Whether it's a finished consumer or trade product, or a component to manufacture, you can be confident that when it carries the Australian Made trade mark it really is made in Australia. What's more, the trade mark is the most widely used cue to check that a product is Australian, and is used by Australian exporters in more than 30 countries.
