Hirano puts art in Asia - Australian performing arts management company

Horned Moon Productions, Ruby Fruit Jungle and the Lunar Circus troupe are among the artists who will be exposed to Asia this year thanks to Hirano.
The Melbourne-based organisation is continuing to successfully export some of Australia's most innovative performers to Asia, with projected commissions on fees for the 1998-99 financial year likely to exceed A$150,000.
Established in 1993, Hirano was the first Australian performing arts management company to specialise in Asia.
Hirano works with Asian partners by presenting or finding presenters for Asian performing arts companies. It also develops co-productions with Asian producers.
In addition, the organisation has so far arranged tours to Asia for nearly 20 Australian companies.
