EarthLink Offering Digital Music Package

Communications Today, July 9, 2002

Internet service provider EarthLink [ELNK] Monday launched Digital Music Center, a service that allows its users to download digital music.

Partnering with music subscription service FullAudio, Earthlink is offering downloads of up to 50 songs a month for $9.95, or 100 tracks a month for $17.95. EarthLink also said it is partnering with music software and service provider MusicMatch to offer custom jukebox software for customers' PCs. Financial terms for the deals weren't disclosed.

"We are really focusing on more than just hooking people up to the Internet," Mark Griffith, a senior brand manager for EarthLink told Communications Today. "We are trying to provide a one-stop shop for the best Internet experience for our customers."
