Xantic, Faslink Communications To Provide On-Line Banking
Communications Today, August 23, 2002
Xantic signed what company officials describe as a "groundbreaking agreement" to contribute satellite airtime and business support to Faslink Communications for a new generation of communication facilities to banks and financial institutions across the Philippines.
Faslink provides complete end-to-end turn-key solutions to the banking industry. The partnership with Xantic will allow Faslink to offer financial institutions in the Philippines a solution based on Global Area Network terminals, with capabilities for mobile packet data service. This will provide the missing link to banks in rural areas, where existing communications infrastructure is neither economical nor reliable, company officials said.
