Hoffman To Head NANC
Communications Today, Sept 3, 1999
The FCC yesterday appointed John Hoffman to the thankless job of heading the North American Numbering Council.
Hoffman will succeed Alan Hasselwander, the former Frontier Corp. CEO who has been chairman for three years.
Until his retirement this year, Hoffman was senior vice president for external affairs for Sprint. He also has been an executive at US Telecom and United Telephone System.
