GN Netcom To Make Bluetooth Headsets For Siemens

Telecom headset vendor GN Netcom will manufacture Bluetooth headsets for Siemens [SI], with deliveries scheduled to start by the end of this year. The headset, which weighs less than 28 grams and is 9 centimeters long, has a range of 10 meters and standby and talk-time in line with the latest mobile telephones.
Nashua, N.H.-based GN Netcom, a unit of Denmark-based telecom technology developer Great Nordic, already is providing Motorola [MOT] with Bluetooth headsets for mobile phones and has sold more than 100,000 units.
