Terra Lycos, IBM To Form New Messaging Service
Communications Today, Nov 4, 2002
Internet service provider Terra Lycos [TRLY] plans to offer a new instant messaging service over IBM [IBM] technology by year's end. The first version of the new service, which will be built on IBM's real-time messaging software, will be free. The company plans to launch paid versions of the service with added features next year. Terra Lycos currently offers several versions of its instant messaging services in the United States, Europe and Latin America.
