Marlink Expands Satellite Business
Communications Today, Nov 4, 2002
Marlink has signed a four-year agreement with Radisson Seven Seas Cruises to provide onboard satellite communications for two more ships, the Seven Seas Navigator and the Seven Seas Voyager, due for launch early next year. The two ships will join the Radisson Seven Seas Mariner in offering at sea satellite communications from Marlink. The company has been providing high-speed data communications at 128 Kbps for the Seven Seas Mariner since 2001. The agreement calls for Marlink, a wholly owned subsidiary of Telenor Satellite Services, to provide Sealink high-speed data service.
