The Dow Jones U.S. Telecommunications Index finished up on Monday, closing at 179.82, a 0.60 percent increase since Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished down 53.63 points, or 0.56 percent, to 9,554.37. The Nasdaq increased 11.65 points, or 0.64 percent, to finish at 1,840.13.
