Analytical Graphics, Inc. Releases STK/Scheduler

Communications Today, Nov 8, 2002

Analytical Graphics (AGI) and business partner Orbit Logic released software that enables spacecraft engineers and operators to schedule all aspects of operations. The STK/Scheduler software uses tasks, resources and events generated by AGI's Satellite Tool Kit (STK) to rapidly produce satellite and ground station scheduling, system architecture design, missile defense evaluation, astronomical observation planning and consumable resource sizing, company officials said.

"STK/Scheduler represents a quantum leap in commercial off-the-shelf scheduling technology," said Paul Welsh, Malvern, Pa.-based AGI's vice president of business development. "We are extremely pleased to offer an intuitive product that delivers optimized scheduling solutions by analyzing complex needs, maximizing the value of limited resources, and even depicting the final plan in three dimensions."
