The Dow Jones U.S. Telecommunications Index finished up on Wednesday, closing at 178.65, a 0.39 percent increase since Tuesday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up 72.66 points, or 0.75 percent, to 9,823.61. The Nasdaq increased 11.08 points, or 0.59 percent, to finish at 1,903.19.
