USTA Continues Makeover

The United States Telecom Association, the primary trade group representing incumbent local exchange carriers, said Thursday that it has expanded the responsibilities of three staff members.
The association appointed Michael Rubin as chief lobbyist and vice president of government affairs, David Cohen as vice president of policy and head of the association's newly created policy division and Lawrence E. Sarjeant as vice president of law and general counsel.
