SBC On A Spree

After FCC staffers presented a proposal to speed merger reviews (see above), SBC's [SBC] new managing director for federal regulatory affairs, Sandra Wagner, told FCC General Counsel Chris Wright that SBC is all for faster reviews. "We are happy to see that," she said. "I don't know if all those thoughts indicate that SBC is contemplating still more transactions," Wright replied, bringing down the house.
