FONS Goes Global With PSI

Fiber Optic Network Solutions (FONS) Corp., which markets fiber-optic connectivity products, inked a new joint-marketing agreement with Photonic Sales International (PSI) that should boost its sales to the OEM market. FONS (Northborough, Mass.) designs and manufactures connectors, cable assemblies, enclosures and frames as well as fused and micro-optic-technology-based optical components and modules for single-mode and multimode applications.

PSI's sales force includes photonics professionals with experience in selling optical components and subsystems. FONS hopes to go global via PSI's touch points at its Boston headquarters and in London, Ottawa, Paris, Tel Aviv and Tokyo.
