Inktomi launches online shopping service for European Internet portals

Inktomi Corp has launched an online shopping service for European Internet portals.
As part of the service, the company has made available its Shopping Engine, a platform designed to allow Internet portals and destination web sites to quickly integrate online commerce capabilities into their sites. The Shopping Engine features web searching technology, product and price comparison as well as an ability to scale with the growth of users and products on the Internet.
Pricing was not disclosed.
