Planet Payment launches Internet payment gateway

Payment systems provider Planet Payment has unveiled a new hosted Internet payment gateway specifically designed to cover multi-currency payments.
The next generation gateway enables merchants to display pricing in a customer's local currency while providing back-end settlement and reporting in the currency selected by the merchant. In addition the system enables merchants to accept most credit and debit card transactions in more than 140 currencies.
Availability and pricing were not revealed.
