E.Centre launches 'always on' DSL Internet connectivity service

E-Centre Inc, a US-based Internet service provider that offers a nationwide dial-in service, has introduced a new DSL-based Internet connectivity service for business and power consumer users.
The service, which will be offered through E-Centre's existing service network, features 'always on' SDSL connections ranging in speeds from 128Kb/s to 7.1Mb/s.
Initially the service will be available in 35 market areas in the US, covering 58 metropolitan statistical areas. The company hopes to cover more than 100 metropolitan statistical areas by the end of 2000.
Pricing begins at USD99/month for a 128Kb/s service plus equipment costs. Installation is free for the first 90 days beginning 1 January.
