Xcert releases security platform for Internet and e-commerce applications

Xcert International Inc has released Sentry 4.0, its product suite that is designed to provide security for Internet and e-commerce applications.
According to Xcert, Sentry 4.0 is the first CA product that has been designed to operate as a root CA system for multiple PKIs and allows companies to manage certificates from any CA.
Features include interoperability with most major Internet and e-commerce applications, scaleability up to 1m users and application profiles that can be preconfigured to speed up application enrolment.
The Sentry 4.0 suite will be available in February on Windows NT and major Unix platforms. Pricing begins at USD10,000.
