Barnesandnoble.com and Microsoft partner to create e-book store

INTERNET BUSINESS NEWS-(C)1995-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Barnesandnoble.com Inc and Microsoft Corp have signed an agreement whereby barnesandnoble.com will create an e-book store on its web site by mid 2000, offering titles that run on Microsoft's Reader software application.
In addition, Barnes & Noble will market the new e-book initiative through promotional activities in its retail bookstores across the US.
