European law firm Eversheds is warning companies that they are putting their e-business future at risk by failing to produce proper web site terms and conditions.

According to Eversheds, plagiarising the legal terms and conditions used at other established sites is also a mistake, because not all web sites are the same and legal terms should be tailored to the specific nature of the trading site to be effective.

The law firm especially warns against copying terms and conditions from US web sites because the US has a different legal system than Europe.
