Barnes & Noble.com, an online bookseller, has launched Barnes & Noble University at its web site www.bn.com.
Barnes & Noble University is a free online education system that will offer courses through the bookseller`s web site on a range of topics, including gardening, classical music, Shakespeare and organising stock portfolios.
Classes commence mid-July and will be taught by experts in the field.
The launch of the service follows Barnes & Noble.com`s investment in a minority stake in notHarvard.com - an online branded university system.
