mtv.co.uk to deliver content for Excite UK's Music channel

Excite UK Ltd, a London-based provider of web-based communications and information services, has signed a content distribution deal with mtv.co.uk to enhance its Music channel.
Under the agreement mtv.co.uk will supply MTV charts covering different genres of music to Excite's Excite.co.uk portal site. In addition mtv.co.uk will provide music-related news, interviews and videos in streaming media to the site.
mtv.co.uk, the UK web site of the online music entertainment company MTV, says the deal is its first with a major portal.
